I have more than seven years of professional technology experience across site reliability engineering, monitoring and observability, cloud infrastructure, DevOps and automation.

I'm also a small-business owner. That gives me another reason to care about clear processes and tools that are useful without becoming a second job.

What you'll find here

Practical guides, small experiments and lessons about AI, technology and building better systems. I don't have every answer. I want to share useful ways to approach a problem, make the assumptions visible and improve as I learn.

The three loose themes are AI & Automation, Technology & Systems, and Building Smarter. They are a way to organize a small notebook, not a promise to cover everything.

Why stockswatch.cc?

This domain started as an investment-research experiment called StocksWatch. The focus has changed. Jacob Builds is now its home, and the old market-data desk and paid-product preview are retired.

Reusing a domain is one small way to keep the project simple. There is no investment service or financial advice offered here.

The rule for growing

Start small. Build something useful. Learn what people want. Add more only when there is evidence to justify the work.
