Current site behavior

StocksWatch is a static, source-linked research site. It does not currently provide site accounts or accept product payments. The optional newsletter signup sends your email directly to Buttondown, as described below. The theme choice and the optional “Follow this desk” preference are stored locally in your browser so the interface can remember your choice. They are not sent to StocksWatch.

The site links to company, SEC, and provider pages. Those destinations have their own privacy practices and are outside StocksWatch control.

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page visits and page-load performance through a browser beacon; it is separate from the local theme and follow preferences. See Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

NBIS Close and Buttondown

Signup is available through the optional form on the research-kit page. NBIS Close covers occasional research workflows, source-checking tips, resource updates and product announcements.

When you submit an enabled signup form, your browser sends your email address directly to Buttondown to manage your subscription and send the newsletter. Buttondown handles any validation and verification steps. StocksWatch does not put your email address in local browser storage or engagement-event payloads. Downloading a free resource does not subscribe you.

Advertising and sponsorship

StocksWatch uses Google AdSense when advertising is enabled. Ads are labeled “Sponsored” and placed after research content. Google and its partners may process device information and use cookies or similar technologies for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. Ad loading requires verified consent configuration as well as the publisher and placement settings. Where a consent message is presented, use its choices and privacy controls to manage your preferences. Publisher verification metadata alone does not load advertising scripts. Sponsor relationships do not control editorial conclusions, and ads are not required to use the research desk.

Data quality and financial framing

Market and company data can be delayed, incomplete, restated, or wrong. Verify material claims against the latest company filing. Automated readouts and scenario assumptions are educational context, not investment advice or guaranteed outcomes.
