### C-02 — Calculated growth was 50%

- Evidence type: calculation from C-01.
- Absolute change: 18 − 12 = USD 6 million.
- Relative change: (18 − 12) / 12 × 100 = 50%.
- Limitation: a historical comparison in a fictional exercise, not a forecast.

## A useful follow-up question

"What source evidence would distinguish customer growth, pricing and service mix
as explanations for this change?"

Until that evidence is available, do not label any one explanation as proven.
The complete worked example adds a capacity disclosure, a later correction,
contradiction handling and a short memo with a deliberately unresolved causal question.
